From equipment planning to problem solving.
For more than 16 years we have been planning the systems behind industrial production – logistics, production equipment, factory structures and the processes in between. Built from the shop floor up – not from the meeting room down. And more and more often, clients brought us in when things went wrong outside our work packages: delivery backlogs, a production line on the verge of stopping, no clear view of production or inventory. We did not come to optimise what was running anyway – we came when there was a fire. And we put it out.
In 2019 we took on our first supply chain assignment. Since then, our crisis and supply chain management has grown steadily, digitally supported. Not a new name for something foreign – an honest name for our craft. What German manufacturing needs today is not expert reports, but people who stand on the shop floor and restore supply.

Certified quality management
Before we put other companies' processes in order, we put our own in order: HecknerGroup's quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The scope covers exactly what we do – logistics and production equipment planning as well as project management, consulting and analysis for the optimisation of business processes and costs.

Assessed information security
We work in supply chains where production data and prototype parts are equally worth protecting. HecknerGroup therefore runs an information security management system based on the questionnaire of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA-ISA). It was assessed by an accredited audit provider – the result is visible to TISAX participants via the ENX portal, not to the general public.

What does HecknerGroup GmbH do?
HecknerGroup GmbH is an operational industrial partner for planning, stabilisation and digitalisation in manufacturing. The service model is organised into three fields: OPERATE takes on clearly defined work packages on an ongoing basis, in particular in logistics, factory, equipment and packaging planning. STABILIZE stabilises critical supply chains and production situations through operational task forces and preventive crisis management. ENABLE develops processes, data structures and digital tools further and enables companies to run them independently afterwards. HecknerGroup was founded in 2010 and is based in Ergolding near Landshut, Bavaria.
How does HecknerGroup differ from a management consultancy?
HecknerGroup does more than advise – it is operationally accountable for the outcome. Teams work directly in the customer's processes, plants and projects and remain accountable for the outcomes agreed. Under OPERATE this can mean taking on a defined work package for the long term, under STABILIZE restoring delivery or production capability, and under ENABLE implementing and handing over improved processes and digital tools. The standard HecknerGroup sets for itself is therefore summed up as “We own it.”
How does HecknerGroup differ from a logistics service provider?
HecknerGroup is not a conventional logistics service provider: it operates neither freight forwarding nor warehousing as its core business. Instead it plans and controls industrial processes and owns defined outcomes. This includes logistics planning, factory planning, equipment planning and packaging planning, as well as stabilising disrupted supply chains. The focus is on planning, control and accountable execution – not on transport or warehousing.
Which industries does HecknerGroup work for?
HecknerGroup has its roots in the automotive and supplier sector and has many years of experience there in production, planning and supply chain projects. Today the offering is deliberately aimed at other parts of manufacturing as well. It suits companies with complex industrial processes, work packages that can be standardised, critical supply chains, or a high need for digitalisation and operational control.
Where does HecknerGroup work?
HecknerGroup is based in Ergolding near Landshut in Bavaria and works on a project basis directly at customer sites and production locations. The core market is the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), but the services are not limited to it. In Austria the group is represented by Heckner Austria GmbH.
